Hello and welcome to my little corner of the Internet!

In case if you didn’t know already my name Hanna. I am a Swedish teenager, who’s always busy doing something. At the moment, I am attending the Gymnasium (Swedish equivalent to high school/college). Maths, English, Chemistry and biology are my favourites subjects, which resulted in me choosing to apply for the science program. My plans and goals for the more distant future is to study to become a food chemist or something similar, like an engineer. My biggest dream is to become a product developer or have a higher position at a ground breaking company, that produces environmentally friendly and healthy foods for everyone to enjoy.

While all cute couples take pictures together I casually take photos for my Instagram, haha.

On top of cooking and blogging, I am in love with working out. I mostly do heavy-ass weight lifting and running. I also played basketball for 10 years, but that sadly took an end when my team more or less dissolved. Many of my basketball mates decided they were done with the sport. When the team had shrunken to only five players, I decided I wanted to set up new goals, like running my first half marathon, and started seeing thing from a bigger perspective. Deciding to not longer play basketball was one of the hardest things I have ever done, but it was the right thing to do. I did no longer get anything out of the two basketball practises a week, and I was better off training on my own for a bigger and more meaningful goal.

Anyhow, weight lifting and going to the gym has been a hobby of mine ever since I was twelve. It was my eight year older brother, Jonatan, who introduced me to the gym and I instantly was hooked. I just enjoy feeling empowered and strong. Well, who doesn’t? When I’m not in the gym, working on getting stronger, or running, I spend a lot of time on photography and taking daily walks.

Some photos that I have taken through out the past years.

Furthermore, in my free time, I listen to too many podcasts, haha. Some of my favourites are (most are in Swedish) “Critical role“, “Table manner with Jessie Ware“, “Talking tastebuds“, “Tyngre fredagsmys“, “Styrkebyrån“, “Träningspodden“, “Skäringer & Mannheimer“, and “Trettio plus trevar“. If I would describe my music preference, I would probably say that most of my favourite songs belong to the “Indie pop” genre.

I also love to travel and spend time with my family. I have two older brothers, who are five and eight years older than I am. The first picture bellow, the one where I am covered with paint, is from when my oldest brother and I ran Color Obstacle rush 2016.  The other picture is from when both my brothers, my brother’s friend, and I ran Toughest, in 2017 in Malmö.

Hmmm… One last thing about me. Since June 2016, I been working in the kitchen of the restaurant “Bloom in the Park”, in Malmö. I work whenever I have time to spare, which isn’t very often nowadays. Anyhow, my main task in the kitchen is to make scones, as we serve Afternoon tea on Sundays, which is the day I work, but also some smaller appetizers and desserts. By working there, I have learnt beyond what I could ever imagine about cooking and how it’s to work at a Michelin restaurant.

Now, you know a little bit more about me! If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message and I’ll make sure to answer as quickly as I can.
