The best proteinpacked Brownie Batter Bites

You know me at this point, I am addicted to anything in the shape of a ball.

So, I think eating whole foods is the best to eat. However, eating some protein powder would never hurt you, quite the opposite actually. (think about those gainzzz) Also, I have a large tub of pea protein in my pantry and I refuse to throw it away. (Note: plain pea protein is the best tasting protein powder I have had so far.) Hence, the creation of these cuties. Processed foods are not the devil, quite the opposite in many cases. You would be able to have your oatmeal in the morning if oats were not gone through the process to make them into rolled oats. That’s a real thinker isn’t it?

These brownie bites’ flavour and texture certainly do satisfy one’s cravings and needs. Not only are they delicious, they are a great healthy, vegan, protein-filled snack to help you power through you day like a beast! Lastly, they really do taste like brownie batter, hence the name!

Delicious Protein Brownie batter bites

[Protein packed, vegan, Refined sugar-, Gluten-, oil-free, fruit sweetened, paleo]

Serving: 6 medium balls     Prep time: 10 minutes

  • 4 / 50g pitted dates
  • 2 tbsp / 8g nut butter
  • 2 tbsp / 20g pea protein powder
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp milk of choice
  1. Just mix everything in a food processor until it forms a “dough”. If it’s too dry add some more milk, if too sticky add more cocoa and protein powder. Roll into balls and enjoy!
