Simple, healthy, vegan, 2 ingredient, chocolate nut butter spread

So I actually make nut butter on a weekly basis, usually some almond butter. A couple of days ago I decided to switch things up! I made a super easy chocolate nut butter spread that certainly will satisfy anyone’s chocolate cravings!

I used a mixture of roasted peanuts, almonds, hazelnuts, cashews and brazil nuts to give the nut butter a complex flavour, but of course you what ever nut you fancy!

Simple, healthy, 2 ingredient, vegan, chocolate nut butter spread

Serving: Around 250g Β  Β  Time: 15 minutes


  • 3 dl / 200g / 1 1/4 cup of roasted nuts of choice
  • 30g / 1 oz chocolate
  • Optionally 2 tsp of sweetener of choice


  1. Mix the nuts in a strong mixer or food processor until completely smooth and runny. It can take a couple of minutes, but do not let that discourage you.
  2. Melt the chocolate and add it to the nut butter. Done!
